Problems with settings, on all night, timer, motion sensor. Perform a “walk by test” by walking across the motion detection field at the approximate distance set on the DISTANCE control knob. The reverse is true when the DISTANCE control knob is turned to “MAX.” it increases the detection zone exponentially. When the DISTANCE control knob is turned to “10 Ft”, the detection zone is very tight and compact, causing the detection sensitivity to be very high. Rotate the DISTANCE control knob anywhere from “10 Ft” to MAX (100 ft). Do not rotate the MINUTES control knob back to the TEST area, or to switch control. Rotate the MINUTES control knob away from the MOTION TEST and set between the 1 and 10. Once out of the detection range, the light will shut off and the test is complete. Resume walking and the light should turn on. Remain still for approximately 5 seconds (when movement is no longer detected), the light will shut off. As movement is detected, the light will activate. With the control knob set to MOTION TEST, do a “Walk by Test” by walking in front of the motion sensor (figure at right). The light will turn on for approximately 20 seconds. Allow the motion sensor about 2 minutes to warm up prior toconducting the “walk by test.” Rotate the MINUTES control knob to MOTION TEST to calibrate the fixture. Light operates day or night at switch control setting. Light only operates after dark with Motion Setting. Motion- or switch-controlled settings.Distance control options 10, 20, 50, and 100 feet.Time control setting options are available from test, 1 minute, 5 minute, and 10 minutes to set how long the light will stay on after motion is no longer detected.180-degree adjustable passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects motion up to 100 feet away.
