And Google Cloud Immersive Stream allows this experience to run on just about any smartphone. What's amazing is that isn't a drone flying in the restaurant - we use neural rendering to create the experience from images alone. And if you’re looking to grab a bite during your visit, you can check out restaurants nearby and get a glimpse inside. If you’re thinking of heading to Big Ben, you can check if there's traffic, how busy it is, and even see the weather forecast. You can get into this immersive view straight from Maps on your phone, and you can pan around the sights… here’s Westminster Abbey. Say you’re planning to visit Westminster with your family. These breakthrough technologies are coming together to power a new experience in Maps called immersive view: it allows you to explore a place like never before. Using advances in 3D mapping and machine learning, we’re fusing billions of aerial and street level images to create a new, high-fidelity representation of a place. We’re also bringing new capabilities into Maps. Over the last year, people used Google Search and Maps to find where they could get a COVID vaccine nearly two billion times. Throughout the pandemic, Google has focused on delivering accurate information to help people stay healthy. Today, you'll see how progress on these two parts of our mission ensures Google products are built to help. I'm excited to show you how we’re driving that mission forward in two key ways: by deepening our understanding of information so that we can turn it into knowledge and advancing the state of computing, so that knowledge is easier to access, no matter who or where you are. All this work is in service of our timeless mission: to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Last year, we shared how new breakthroughs in some of the most technically challenging areas of computer science are making Google products more helpful in the moments that matter. And to the millions more joining us around the world - we’re so happy you’re here, too. To the thousands of developers, partners and Googlers here with us, it’s great to see all of you. Actually, let’s make that welcome back! It’s great to return to Shoreline Amphitheatre after three years away. We are grateful for the opportunity.Įditor’s note: Below is an edited transcript of Sundar Pichai's keynote address during the opening of today's Google I/O Developers Conference. Thank you to everyone who helps us do this work, and most especially our Googlers. It’s exciting to build these products it’s even more exciting to see what people do with them. Today, I talked about how we’re advancing two fundamental aspects of our mission - knowledge and computing - to create products that are built to help. And once a year - on my favorite day of the year :) - we share an update on how it’s going at Google I/O. The progress we've made is because of our years of investment in advanced technologies, from AI to the technical infrastructure that powers it all. In the decades since, we’ve been developing our technology to deliver on that mission. Nearly 24 years ago, Google started with two graduate students, one product, and a big mission: to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Location of the head and galley afford the owner's cabin optimum privacy. The head is large and situated fore aft with a separate shower stall. The large dinette to port converts easily into a comfortable double, but the piece-de-resistance is the "owner's cabin" queen size berth forward. Hot and cool water, a two-burner stove, and 12-V DC-110-V AC refrigeration complete the gourmet workstation. The galley is a standup "L" shape and benefits from an overhead hatch, affording ventilation and light. There is a helmsman chair - but, if having your feet on the deck gives you more stability, you may remove it. The inside steering station is located on the starboard side close to amidships. The years invested in defining and refining the design are manifest in the efficient, practical, and commodious interior. Very tough yet very light for a 30-foot boat, she was designed with the mature boat owner in mind - that rugged individualist who has reached the point in his or her life wherein traditional aesthetics, quality craftsmanship, unique form, and simplicity beat the daylights out of go-fast, high-time maintenance, cramped accommodations. The Wanderer combines the traditional quality and craftsmanship of a time gone by with the best features of today's technology and materials. Construction methods and materials used in her manufacture were chosen to afford the owner the quality, security, and comfort of a much more expensive boat without the cost normally associated with that level of value-added features. The Wanderer sails safely, comfortably, and confidently.

Even people who don't like the movie tend to agree that opening yellow line race is top class. The race only occurs every five years, but in order to participate he must overcome the mafia, the government and even love., Southeast Asias leading anime, comics, and games. A daredevil driver is determined to compete in Redline, the most popular race in the galaxy. I do think it doesn't work in the movie's favour that the opening sequence is SO DAMN GOOD, and it doesn't quite reach this kind of high again later on. Thanks for uploading the film in 1080p, i was at 100000 all the time. Originally Redline is a spin off anime of Trava: Fist Planet (2003) and although the characters from Trava: Fist Planet are in it briefly, this is a story that conceptually was developed from Trava: Fist Planet into a full length movie. So I guess it's pretty polarizing, although I'm with you in the camp of those who think it's one of the best films of last decade, so I do find it hard sometimes to understand why most people react to it the way they do. Redline is an anime movie directed by Takeshi Koike and written by Katsuhito Ishii. My experience of sharing about it is that most people actually find it terrible, while few actually love it. Which perhaps makes it a little surprising that it was actually completed, but not so surprising that it wasn't a big hit.Īs a fairly inconsequential Japanese release, it's probably not that surprising that Redline took time to get noticed in the west. So, Redline was only ever reach a pretty niche audience in Japan: adults who like long-form anime, racing, and sci-fi. I would also say that motorsports don't have the same popularity now, or when Redline was released, compared to the 80s or 90s. Meanwhile, I’ll leave you with the very first song on the Redline sound track. This is coming from a guy who considers him a snob and an aficionado, who’s genuinely debating giving this movie a place in the top 15 anime movies of all time. Showings are very expensive and there's generally not that much availability, even in large cities. What I’m trying to say is that everyone needs to see this movie, it’s that damned good. 8:00am PDT(5/29/22) From its over-the-top action to its belief in the bonds of family, The Fast and the Furiousis a franchise that feels more than a little like anime already. This was followed shortly after by Akira at 11M, in the late 80s. Budgets for an anime are never made public, but that's the general level things are at.' Wings of Honnemise cost 8M and almost ruined Gainax. Cinemas in Japan don't enjoy the same popularity they do in the west. On occasion a very well-off production can go north of US300,000 per episode, but that's pretty rare. This is a lot longer than Madhouse intended. It took seven years to make and has over 100,000 hand-drawn frames. The film is set in the distant future and was adapted from an original story written by Ishii. The fact that the movie did not do well at the Japanese box office is not necessarily very indicative either. Redline is an intergalactic space race Japanese animation film from the highly praised studio Madhouse. The vast majority of Japanese creators really only create for the domestic market.
